Alex Labbé takes 16th place in Pocono
Third race under the Can-Am banner

Long Pond, Pennsylvania, June 27, 2021 – Alex Labbé continues to show consistency in his results with a 16th place finish today at Pocono Raceway. His driving was flawless and his execution perfect.

“We didn’t make any mistakes, the pit stops went really well too. We just need a little more speed to achieve our goals, but all in all, I’m very happy with our race,” said the DGM Racing driver.

Since the race at Darlington Raceway on May 10th, Labbé has been in the top-20 and is currently 19th in the driver and owner standings. “After a rocky start to the season, we are now showing a lot more consistency on the track and that is very encouraging. We are still aiming for the top-15 and even the top-10 on the road courses and we are almost there”, said the driver who was wearing the Can-Am colors for the third time this season.

Next week the NASCAR Xfinity Series will be at Road America in Wisconsin. These are the races of choice for the Quebec driver who has a history of excellent results on the road courses. “We are looking forward to this race, we have a good chance to finish among the leaders. “

Alex Labbé is the only Quebec driver in the NASCAR series.

A third race in the Can-Am colors
A sign that the Can-Am colors are bringing luck to the St-Albert driver, the number 36 car stayed in the top-5 with 25 laps to go and even momentarily occupied the first position before its pit stop. A similar scenario occurred during the first COTA event at the end of May when the Can-Am car was on the lead lap.

The following races will be run under the auspices of the Quebec-based motorsports brand:

– Road America, Wisconsin, July 3, 2021
– Brooklyn, Michigan, August 21, 2021
– Daytona, Florida, August 27, 2021
– Talladega, Alabama, October 2, 2021
– Fort Worth, Texas, October 16, 2021
